when all of my friends first lost edge we were kids

it changed who i was
and helped me to get through
another year
in this town that i fucking hate
i had to get out
and resolve the mistakes i made
all my friends are home
for the holidays and snow storm nights
we'll scrape our pockets clean
for cheap beers at the dryden hotel
where all the bartenders
are girls who went to my highschool
i really hope they're up to more
than just yelling "last call"
it seems like since i left
everyone froze in time and relapsed
but Travis and Keenan are cleaning up
i couldn't be more proud of them for that
i really hope everyone here doesn't kill themselves
